AMP Physical Therapy & Sports Performance COVID Response

As a health care provider, I want to assure all of my current clients and future clients that I am conscious of and actively practicing sanitary precautions with my equipment as well as being socially conscious related to current public health guidelines to ensure the safety of my patients. I have had both doses of the Moderna COVID vaccine.

We, as individuals, have to maintain our personal health, which involves physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual aspects. Physical activity helps improve multiple aspects within our personal health spectrum. Therefore, we, as individuals, need movement more now than ever in these quarantined times for our personal health, however, pain and injuries can prevent us from moving. We, as a society, need to keep moving to help us all get and stay healthy.

Physical therapists are listed as involved in the essential infrastructure defined by the United States Department of Homeland Security. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security states “If you work in a critical infrastructure industry, as defined by the department of homeland security, such as healthcare services and pharmaceutical and food supply, you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule.”

If you are suffering from an injury or have pain during movement, I am here for you as your physical therapist to safely decrease your pain and improve your function.

Stay informed and stay safe. Wear your mask, maintain physical distancing recommendations, and wash your hands.
